The International Workers Memorial, was commissioned by Blacktown Council in 2016. The work is dedicated to the men and women of Blacktown who have lost their lives in the workplace and the families they have left behind. The work is intended as a symbol of inclusion, nurturing and unity, a portal into a space of contemplation and reverence that evokes memories of those lost to workplace tragedy.
